FOUR fire engines were called to a blaze in a barn on Raikes Road, Little Thornton, just before 6pm yesterday.
Hay being stored in the building had set alight.
Crews from Fleetwood, Bispham and Blackpool were called to the scene and used an aerial ladder platform to tackle the blaze from.
No animals were inside the building.
After putting the flames out, crews remained at the scene for several hours damping down the hay.
