She was pictured all smiles at the Mandarin Chinese restaurant on Clifton Street enjoying a glass of wine alongside other cast members on Sunday morning.

Janet Hill, from Lytham, who attended the performance, said: “It was very strange. There didn’t seem to be anything wrong with her in the first half. She seemed perfectly fine. She was holding the long notes just fine and she didn’t have a croaky voice or seem unwell.

“There was nothing wrong with her voice at all, aside from the fact that

“After another 10 minutes there was another announcement saying Miss Harding had become ‘indisposed’ and that the role of Molly would be played by her understudy.

“There was no other explanation.

Fans watching the performance took to Twitter following the shock replacement.

@suffolkbrumfan said “Been to Ghost tonight, not sure what happened to Sarah Harding but the understudy for second half was excellent singer.”
