Toby was taken into the care of the RSPCA after the sad death of his owner.
He is 12-years-old and has struggled to cope with the loss of his owner because he is used to having company all the time.
RSPCA spokesman Natasha Henderson said: “He is a very sweet gentleman who just loves to be next to you.
“Toby is good on the lead and also enjoys being groomed. He gets on well with other dogs and could be suitable to live with a cat but he does need a quiet home where he will not be left on his own for a long period of time.”
Previous dog experience is essential as Toby will need some support when settling into his new home. His adoption is £70.
The next RSPCA event is a dog show on Saturday April 30 at St John’s Square, Blackpool, 11am to 4pm.
Judging starts from 12.30pm, register on the day, £2 a class.
