Three minutes later the visitors took the lead for the first time when fumbling uncertainty in the Fylde defence let in Matt Harrison for a try, converted by McBride (22-26)

In the fifth minute of added-on time, Bury St Edmunds rounded off their scoring with a try by McBride, which he himself converted.

It was Fylde's second defeat in friendlies - they had lost to Sedgley Park the previous week.
