SHOPPERS at a Blackpool supermarket had paws for thought when a trainee guide dog popped in for a visit.
Jubilee surprised shoppers at Sainsbury’s in Red Bank Road, Bispham, which has been rasing money for Guide Dogs for the Blind – it’s chosen charity for the year.
Through bucket collections and sponsored events, the store managed to raise the £8,000 needed to buy a puppy for the charity.
PR ambassador Susie Norton even gave up smoking to raise money for the cause.
She said: “He was lovable. Everyone put so much effort into raising money.”
Jubilee was joined on Thursday by Margaret Hardman from Guide Dogs for the Blind, who is pictured with Jacqui Broom, Clare Dutton and Susie Norton from Sainsbury’s.
