A FOOTBALLER has been accused of driving on a motorway at 115mph.
Former Blackpool player, Miguel Llera-Garzon now at Sheffield Wednesday, had the first hearing of his case today, but was not present at court.
The 32-year-old Spanish centre-half, of Cypress Point, Lytham, is accused of speeding in a Chrysler 300 on the M55 at Wesham on December 1 last year.
Paul Foster, prosecuting, asked for the adjournment saying prosecution statements had already been sent to the defendant, but an amendment had been added to the papers.
Llera-Garzon’s case was adjourned to April 30 by District Judge Huw Edwards sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
