FLOODING caused yet more road chaos for motorists across the Fylde coast.
Police confirmed Weeton Road near the Army barracks in Weeton was shut at around 9pm yesterday due to the high level of water and remained closed this morning.
Yesterday’s deluge Staining flooded Mythop Road. Chain Lane in the village, became impassable because of the downpours.
A police spokesman said: “The council went out last night to check the roads and we had a patrol out this morning where flooding had been a problem.
“The flooding is less of an issue now but Weeton Road, Mythop Road and Chain Lane are closed.
“The council was going out again this morning.”
