The iconic Coca-Cola truck – that for many marks the start of the festive period when it appears on TV screens – is heading to Blackpool.

This weekend the famous truck will visit the Tower Festival Headland tomorrow.

A recent survey by the soft drinks company found Blackpool to be among the 20 most kindest places in the country, with 49 per cent of Sandgrown’uns stating they give food or money to the homeless, while 56 per cent regularly volunteer or donate to charity.

Fifty-six per cent also say they leave a festive tip or present for their bin man, post man or milk man.

The visit has been organised as a reward for the resort’s generosity – and it will take place between noon and 8pm.
