A father breached his bail on Christmas Day and two days after New Year’s Day.
Darren Bradbury first sent pleasant texts to his former girlfriend, but the second time he was rude and threatening.
Bradbury, 27, of Newhouse Road, Marton, pleaded guilty to two offences of failing to comply with a bail condition.
District Judge Jeff Brailsford, sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court, agreed to rebail him. Pam Smith, prosecuting, said Bradbury had been bailed on the condition he did not contact his ex, except about seeing his two daughters.
On Christmas Day he sent his former partner texts stating “For all three of my girls. Love you all. Hoping for better days next year.”
But on January 3 he texted her again and called his ex offensive names.
Stephen Duffy, defending, there was a row by text over picking up the girls and Bradbury foolishly used rude language.
