THE tragedy of a life cut short was reflected in the young faces of friends who gathered to say their final farewells to Jack Whyte.
There were tears as tributes were paid to the 19-year-old by family members and former classmates at his funeral at St Andrew’s Parish Church in Cleveleys.
Jack, a former Fleetwood High School pupil, lived on Clarence Avenue, Cleveleys.
He was found hanged in woodland known as The Towers, off Senior Drive in the town on May 2.
Reverend David Reeves, who led yesterday’s service, said Jack would be remembered for his bubbly nature, love of dance, designer clothes, and for his cheeky grin.
