An out of school club has been praised for providing “expert” teaching to “enthusiastic and motivated” children.
Stanley Scamp’s OSC has been told all of its young charges make “rapid progress” as “children’s school learning is complemented” at the club, which runs sessions before and after school.
Now the club, situated in Marton United Reform Church on Wordsworth Avenue, close to Stanley Primary School, has been told it is “outstanding” by Ofsted but organisers say they plan to make the facilities offered to children even better.
The club was told:
Children are extremely happy
Parents are kept well informed
Practitioners plan extremely well around each child’s stage of development and current events
The club, owned and run by Rachel Davina Howson, and looking after more than 100 children, is now looking to increase its range of activities offered to children and increase the amount of play facilities in the garden garden, which inspectors said were “already excellent”.
