This friendly feline is looking for a new home after being abandoned last year.

Sooty is a black, male cat who is approximately three years old.

He was found in Preesall in December last year and was taken to Longview Animal Centre.

He is a very friendly cat and loves attention.

A spokesman at the RSPCA Centre said: “Sadly he has lost his tail and because of this people seem to overlook him.

“Since being at the centre Sooty has been vaccinated and he was neutered before his
arrival.

“He would like a new home where he will have lots of cuddles.”

Sooty is £65 to adopt, which includes micro-chipping, fleaing, worming, annual vaccinations and a vet health check before leaving the centre.

The animal centre on Old Tom’s Lane in Stalmine is having a sponsored dog walk at 10.30am on Sunday, April 19, starting at the main car park situated behind the Discovery Centre on the High Street in Garstang.

It is a circular walk of the area lasting approximately two hours.

Entry forms are available at the centre.

If you would like to adopt Sooty please contact the centre on (01253) 703000.
