HIGHFURLONG School helped organise a highly successful disability sports taster day at PlayFootball on Garstang Road.
Run in collaboration with CP (cerebral palsy) Sport England, specialist coaches supervised the football, table cricket, boccia and athletics events.
The event was designed for students with any physical or learning disabilities to compete against other schools.
Besides Highfurlong, Marton Primary, Palatine Sports College, Westcliffe Primary and Red Marsh SEN School also took part.
The event strengthened the links between the schools and identified talented young individuals, with a view to helping them fulfil their potential.
Special thanks to the Blackpool Cerebral Palsy association for funding the event, and to the Highfurlong enterprise group and all the sports leaders.
