Blackpool Sixth Form College continued its work in the fight against blood cancer when it raised hundreds of pounds for the Antony Nolan charity.

The college on Blackpool Old Road held a ‘charity hero’ day, inviting students and staff to dress as their favourite superheroes.

More than £500 was raised for the blood cancer charity and bone marrow register, and students were taught about its work and asked to join the register of donors.
