Blackpool and Fylde College is preparing for a mass takeover - of potential students.
More than 1,000 people are expected to attend an event at Blackpool and The Fylde College, to discuss the hundreds of options on offer to help them launch their future careers.
The oustanding graded college holds regular open events, which offer people a chance to find out how the college can help them in planning their next step on the job ladder or tailor longer term career plans.
Expert tutors will be on hand to discuss different courses and career paths.
There will also be opportunities to tour the Ccllege’s outstanding learning environments, as well as obtain advice about funding and other support.
Bev Robinson, Principal and Chief Executive at B&FC, said: “We look forward to opening our doors to the local community as it provides people with the opportunity to explore career choices which they may not have previously considered, be they in areas as diverse as nursing, aerospace engineering, accounting or the energy industries.
“B&FC is nationally recognised for its higher professional technical education, supported by expert staff and leading-edge facilities.
“So anyone considering their options for higher education, their first step on the career ladder or their further career development, should come and find out how we can help them realise their ambitions.”
Events will be held at both the Bispham Campus in Ashfield Road and University Centre, Park Road, Blackpool, on November 9 between 4.30pm and 7pm
