There’s something quite ‘humerus’ about the new staff member in the science department at St Aidan’s CE Technology College.

The new biology skeleton has been bought for the Preesall school by the Saint Aidan’s Association, when its current skeleton, affectionately known as Horace, started getting a bit long in the tooth after 40 years in service.

Science technician Jill Sedgwick said: “Horace has been in service for 40 years and is going into semi retirement, he’s a little fragile.”

Now Year Seven classes have chance to name the new skeleton.
