Bosses at a Wyre secondary school have said they are building on the positives of an Ofsted report.
Fleetwood High School went up a rating after the independent inspectorate visited in June, being told it ‘requires improvement’.
Headteacher Richard Barnes said “the Fleetwood Way” was praised as well as progress made since he took up post.
He said: “The Fleetwood Way is essentially an agreed code of conduct – we have adopted a zero tolerance approach to any disturbance to learning.”
The report noted: “There have been significant improvements in pupils’ rates of progress. They are keen to succeed.”
Mr Barnes added: “Of course there are further improvements recommended, but plans are already in motion to address these areas.”
