It was an unforgettable experience for St Aidan’s CE Technology College pupils who visited Ingolstadt, Germany - the home of the Audi.

While Audi seeks ‘advancement through technology’ the 22 pupils sought advancement through exchange, visiting classes at a partner secondary school in the town as well as visiting local landmarks.

The youngsters enjoyed lessons with their exchange partners and made friends for life at the Christoph Scheiner Gymnasium.

They also visited the Bayern München Allianz stadium, took a stroll around Munich centre and visited to Nürnberg.

Teacher Mrs Burke said: “For many of our students this visit was an unforgettable experience, which helped to improve their German language skills. They also developed a real appreciation of a different culture and way of life.”
