Adam’s on his bike to be safe

A smart young biker has set the wheels in motion to be the safest young cyclist on Blackpool’s roads.

Nine-year-old Adam Carley is the first primary school pupil in Blackpool to progress to Level Three in cycling proficiency, a level usually reserved for secondary school pupils.

The Marton Primary School pupil impressed staff from Blackpool Council’s bikeability courses with his with natural ability and concentration so was taken on the higher level course.

He said: “I’m proud of myself. It’s important to be safe. Drivers should always be aware of cyclists.”
