Blackpool-based Scream Theatre Schools is looking for new generation of talented youngsters to join its crop of pupils currently heading for the stars.
Scream trains children for a professional career in the arts and with the assistance of its sister company Scream Management Ltd based at MediaCity UK in Salford includes in its recent successes Bobby McDonald (CloudBabies), Joe Warren Plant (Emmerdale), Owen Brady (Walkers), Angel Summer Jordan (4 O Clock Club), Ryan Wilkinson (Bedlam and Shameless) and Owen Salthouse (4 O Clock Club).
They also had a number of students filming in Young Dracula for CCBC and The Secret of Crickley Hall, a new drama starring Suranne Jones which is to air in the autumn on BBC One.
Throughout August, Scream will play host to masterclasses from all areas of performing arts including audition techniques, musical theatre, hip hop and a three hour masterclass with Free Fly Dance Crew.

Scream’s successful Triple Threat Academy runs on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and showcases pupils to top casting directors every year. The school trains all ages from two to 18 with weekly classes including street dancing, advanced dance, youth theatre, LAMDA and private vocals plus all areas of the performing arts.
Scream are also holding an open day on Saturday September 8 with trial classes for children to try in preparation for the new terms beginning on Wednesday or Saturday September 12 and 15.

Scream Theatre School was set up in 1998 by Tracey Bell to provide opportunities for children and young people in the region. Scream also works in schools and out in the communities across the North West to deliver performance art training to people of all ages who may not otherwise get the opportunity.
Sister company, Red Door Management is based in London and deals with adult representation over the age of 18 years. Many of them graduate from Scream Management.
