HE MAY not be able to fly – but he makes a quacking cook in the kitchen!
Orville the Duck joined creator Keith Harris at the stove as the pair took on TV’s toughest challenge – feeding three fussy celebrities the finest food they could muster.
The pair are starring in this week’s Celebrity Come Dine With Me, with Keith welcoming former Atomic Kitten Kerry Katona, entertainer Lionel Blair and Eastenders actress Cheryl Fergison into his Fylde coast home.
The ventriloquist said: “Come Dine With Me have approached me for the last five years but I kept turning it down because all celebrities live in London and I didn’t want to do it unless they did it here.
“So to persuade me I went down to for the first three nights and then everyone came to me on the Saturday.
“The whole programme is Jubilee themed but apparently they have brought it forward because it’s such a good one.
“Filming was hysterical – we had a lot of laughs and we all seemed to get on reasonably well, although you never know until you see it what people have said about you.”
Keith said he “went to town” for his three-course meal, but is keeping tight-lipped on the fare he served up for his guests – and who scooped the £1,000 charity prize.
He said: “My night was fantastic, all the nights were very different.
“I really went to town and spent all the money they paid me on making sure the night was good.
“I did some shrimps from Fleetwood and Cheryl was vegetarian so I did some nice veggie stuff for her.
“I got some great entertainment as well as Orville, although he was not there all the time because it was my chance for people to see me at home. “I’m a comedian although Orville and Cuddles get all the gags.”
And after enjoying his week on the hit channel four show – Keith hinted he could be heading for another reality challenge.
He added: “There are lots of other things in the pipeline – it might be the jungle next, you never know.”
Catch Keith on Celebrity Come Dine With Me on channel four on Sunday at 8pm.
