THE DRIVER involved in a fatal collision which killed two passengers has been jailed.
21-year-old Scott Sutcliffe was driving his MG Rover through Anchorsholme at around 5.45am on June 7 2011 when his car collided with a brick wall on Fleetwood Road.
Sutcliffe was one of seven people in the car at the time of the crash.
Nathan Weston, 23, one of four passengers sat in the rear of the car, sustained fatal injuries; Roseanna Cooper, 21, who had been lying across those on the back seat, died at the scene.
Sutcliffe, of Pilling, appeared at court earlier this year and pleaded guilty to two counts of death by dangerous driving.
Appearing at Preston Crown Court on Monday he was jailed for three years and 10 months and was given a six year driving ban.
