Taken as red

Saucy psychic Katie Keeley is hitting the headlines for praising the power of red knickers!

The popular television psychic, who doles out advice to callers in phone-in readings, is convinced that wearing red knickers can help both women, and men, boost their confidence and spice up their sex lives.

And with her website overwhelmed with positive feedback from happy clients, Katie is planning a nationwide tour of Love Workshops - with a red knicker theme!

"It's really taking off. I'm getting requests from all over for interviews and radio appearances," said Katie, who lives in Snowdon Close, Blackpool.

A former aquarobics teacher and divorced mum-of-three, Katie explained how her red knicker revelation came about.

"When I was a child, I was abused twice, both times by strangers. I had blocked those experiences out of my mind and thought I didn't carry any guilt and had mentally forgiven the men involved.

" I went on to get married and have three great children.

" I was aware, though, that if I went out anywhere with my girlfriends I was never approached by men like they were. I knew that I looked nice and was a nice person so I never really understood why I could be the one dancing alone on an empty dance floor all night.

"I was always the wallflower."

She discovered the power of red while developing her psychic gift with her mentor, celebrated Blackpool medium Pat Haywood.

" On the first night we did a guided meditation, and after we discussed what we had seen in this meditation.

Pat told me I had picked two colours of red in this meditation and the next day to be aware that I would possibly feel very assertive or may feel aggressive as she had opened up my lower energy centre, the base chakra, the energy centre for passion and drive, as it was blocked.

"I thought nothing more of it but couldn't sleep that night or any other night that week due to feelings of passion which I knew I was not in control of."

"Over the years when I have been doing relationship readings I have found that with those in an abusive relationship or had been badly hurt, I was guided to clear their base chakra."

A regular on Sky's Psychic TV, Katie started her own experiment by wearing red knickers when on her way to Sky TV's London Studios to work.

"I was telling myself I was beautiful and sexy and on the first day three men said "good morning" to me - no-one had ever so much as spoken to me before. I was walking differently, with catwalk confidence."

She put her theory to the test, with positive results every time. "I came to the conclusion that if you wear red knickers, it really does make a difference so I started to tell people about it who came through to me with relationship problems."

"Soon people were sending feedback into the show via the phone, texting in, and sending messages to my website and on Facebook stating that it really does work. One lady who was trying to get her ex back said that he turned up with a brand new bright red Audi A3 for her.

" One lady was so desperate that when she found she couldn't find red knickers she bought bikini bottoms!

"A man actually cut up his designer tee shirt so that he could put a piece of red material down his underpants!

"It's not just about passion, it's also about confidence and empowerment. Wearing red knickers for a job interview should give you the edge!"

A third generation psychic, Katie, 44, is now planning a nationwide red knicker tour working with her television medium colleague, Grant Colyer.

"It will be a series of Love Workshops to help people get their relationships back on track."
