We have joined forces with G Casino in Blackpool to find The Gazette Face of 2009.
And we are looking for lovelies to take part in our model competition... when the winner will not only bag a bevvy of fabulous prizes, she , and the runner-up, will automatically go through to the final of the glittering Miss Blackpool contest at the Winter Gardens on August 21.
Entering the Face of The Gazette 2009 competition couldn't be easier. Simply call 01253 290191 to make your appointment for your FREE photographic sitting at Studio D, Church Street, Blackpool which must take place before July 6.
Pictures of all the girls who must be between 18 and 30, will appear in The Gazette soon after the closing date, when readers will have the chance to vote for their favourite.
The six girls polling the most votes will go through to the final which will include a professional photoshoot at our sponsor's venue – G Casino.
A judging panel will decide the overall winner and runner up.
Our winner will receive automatic entry to the Miss Blackpool Grand Final, a bumper pack of fabulous prizes, a photographic portfolio from Studio D and a place on the books of Angels Elite Models.
Last year's winner was bubbly brunette Charlie Latus ,21, of Cleveleys.
It was first time lucky for Charlie. "It was a spur of the moment decision to enter. I've thought about it before and this time I thought I might as well have a go. I talked to my mum and dad about it first and they thought it was a good idea.
"I just couldn't believe I'd won. I was so excited!" she said.
"It's a real privilege to be chosen and to represent The Gazette."
