SPONGEBOB SquarePants and his friends celebrated Nickelodeon Land’s first birthday over the weekend.
The much-loved characters welcomed revellers to enjoy a cake cutting ceremony and dance lessons.
Managing director of Pleasure Beach, Amanda Thompson, said: “We couldn’t wait to celebrate Nickelodeon Land’s first birthday with SpongeBob and all his friends. We hope we made it a really special day, as the attraction has been such a huge hit with everyone who has come to visit Pleasure Beach.”
Nickelodeon Land is one of the biggest single investments by the Pleasure Beach in recent years and saw a complete transformation of six acres of the attraction.
