A tip-off over the internet resulted in a surveillance sting which exposed a young mother as a benefits cheat.
Danielle Hall’s home was watched by benefit fraud investigators who saw a man regularly leave the address in the early hours.
The mother-of-one had failed to reveal to the authorities that she was living with a man.
Hall, 24, of Chatsworth Road, Fleetwood, pleaded guilty to two offences of fraud and two offences of dishonestly failing to provide information.
She was given a 12 months’ conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs with £15 victims’ surcharge by District Judge Roger Lowe sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
