A pervert who abused a three-year-old child has been sentenced to 19 years in prison.
A court heard that Enrico Thor Korsche’s offences dated back at least 13 years.
Korshe, of Springfield Road, North Shore, Blackpool, was living in North Kent at the time of the offences.
Judge Michael Carroll told Korshe as he sentenced him at Maidstone Crown Court yesterday: “It was the most extreme and gross behaviour one can imagine.”
Korsche, 57, had pleaded not guilty to abusing the thre-year-old and another young girl, but was convicted of a string of offences of rape, indecent assault and indecency with a child.
The court was told Korsche had led a “nomadic lifestyle” and was not arrested until 10 years after the offences.
He was jailed for 16 years for three offences of oral rape, three years consecutive for six offences of indecent assault and a further year concurrent for the offence of indecency with a child.
The judge said Korsche’s abuse had left his victim’s severely traumatised.
Jon Fitzgerald, defending, said he was arrested 10 years after the offending and had no previous convictions of a similar kind. Investigating officer, DC Steve Dingwall of Kent Police, said: “His victims were exposed to this depravity at a young age and as a consequence have been through a tremendous amount of emotional pain.
“I would like to pay tribute to them for their courage and hope they can begin to move forward with their lives now their abuser is behind bars.
“I welcome the news that he will be in jail for the foreseeable future. He has shown absolutely no remorse for his calculated behaviour.”
