A father and son were punched and kicked by at least three men in an unprovoked attack in a Blackpool pub.

A 40-year-old man and his 18-year-old son were set upon by the gang in the toilets of The Burlington, on Lytham Road.

The older man suffered a broken nose, cuts and bruises in the assault, and his son received minor injuries including swelling to his forehead.

Police have released CCTV images of a number of men who they would like to speak to in connection with the incident, which happened at around 10.30pm on Saturday, March 23.

Det Con Eleanor Healey said: “If anybody recognises any of the men in the CCTV images then I would ask them to contact police. We believe these men may have information which can assist with this inquiry.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who knows the men in the pictures, is asked to contact Lancashire Police on 101.
