TWO men were arrested during a drugs raid at a Kirkham home.

Officers executed a warrant at an address on Lime Avenue at around 4pm on Friday.

Inside the address they discovered several small bags of cannabis bush.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cannabis and a 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing mephedrone.

Both have been released on bail pending further inquiries.

Sgt Niamh O’Donoghue, Kirkham neighbourhood police team, said: “Drugs cause a wide range of problems, from health risks to additional crime carried out to fund habits. We are doing all we can to disrupt supply chains in our area.”

Anyone with information about drug dealing is asked to contact police on new non-emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
