A reveller who punched a man was found hiding on the floor of a Hummer limousine.
Robert Rowntree had come to Blackpool with a party of people for a birthday celebration.
Rowntree, 20, of Rowan Place, Lancaster, pleaded guilty to assault.
He was bailed for pre-sentence reports by District Judge Pamela Baldwin sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
Martine Connah, prosecuting, said there was an altercation between two groups outside the Eden club on February 8 at 2am.
A doorman saw Rowntree strike a man on the side of the head.
The victim suffered a large cut to his head and he had four stitches in the mouth. In a victim’s statement he said the attack was senseless.
When interviewed Rowntree said he had drunk 10 bottles of beer. He added he had no reason to get involved and hit the victim.
