Two children’s quad bikes have been stolen from a garage in Cleveleys.

The bikes, one blue and one black, were new when they were taken from a garage on North Drive last month.

Police say the culprits had to scale a 5ft wooden fence and remove a padlock to get to them.

They both had Avengers stickers on them and have distinctive Oliver and Alfie number plates.

The black bike has green tape under the right handlebar which you cannot see unless you remove the handle and has a broken fuel pipe, so wasn’t working when it was taken.

The bikes were taken from a garage on North Drive sometime between 7pm on Sunday April 14 and 12.30pm on Saturday, April 20.

The children’s red and blue helmets have also been stolen.

PC Debbie Waite said: “Understandably the children are very upset and I would appeal to anybody who has any information about this burglary, or the possible whereabouts of the bikes to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
