A serial shoplifter was recognised on CCTV when he stole goods.
Jason Goldrick, 45, of Adelaide Street, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to the theft of £96 of razor blades from a shop.
His case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports by Blackpool magistrates.
Peter Bardsley, prosecuting, said Goldrick was recognised after being captured on CCTV footage at a Wilkinsons store on March 7.
He had stolen razor-blades from the shop.
Allan Cobain, defending, said his client was well known, with 178 criminal offences to his name, and that is why he was recognised.
Goldrick had been on limited benefits money at the time and stole in desperation, he added.
