A TEEN has made his first appearance in court charged with murdering a man with a single stab wound to the chest.

Robert Heneghan, 19, is accused of killing Sam Bee, also 19, during an incident on Tuesday.

Heneghan, of Palatine Road, Blackpool, was sent for trial at Preston Crown Court by District Judge Michael Fanning sitting at Blackpool Magistrates Court.

The accused was remanded in custody and will appear at the higher court tomorrow.
