A teenager who attacked his mother and step-father has been ordered by a court to ask his parents’ permission when he wants to visit their home.
Montell Chinno, 18, of Orme Street, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to two offences of assault. He was sentenced to a two-year restraining order by Blackpool magistrates, which requires him to ask his parents’ permission to go to their home in Sandyforth Avenue, Thornton.
Magistrates were told that Chinno returned to his parents’ address March 9 about 9pm. They asked why he was back so early and he snapped and threw a glass which his stepfather managed to deflect with his fist. His stepfather was bleeding heavily from a cut hand.
Chinno’s mum told him she would not tolerate such behaviour and he “soft head-butted” her.
