A student who urinated in a takeaway refused to clean up when asked by police.

Paul Barker, 19, of St David’s Road North, St Annes, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly.

He was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge by Blackpool magistrates.

Martine Connah, prosecuting, said a police officer saw Barker in the doorway of the Eatabout takeaway urinating on the floor on May 11.

The officer asked Barker to clean up the mess, but he refused. Barker was embarrassed about the offence, the court heard.
