Vandals have damaged 13 cars parked in residential neighbourhoods in just three days.

The damaged has been caused overnight between Saturday and Monday by vandals jumping on the cars’ bonnets and roofs, and scratching the paintwork.

The cars were attacked on the outskirts of Royal Lytham Golf Course in St Annes and Victoria Street in Lytham.

Police patrols have been stepped up in the area and police are urging members of the public to be vigilant.

People with information are asked to call Lancashire police on 101. They can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or report it online at Crimestoppers-uk.org.
