Sea rescue launched close to Blackpool's Gynn Square
A missing person was helped from the sea close to Gynn Square in Blackpool.
They were rescued by RNLI volunteers and the Coastguard at around 6.40pm yesterday, with the resort’s lifeboat also called out.
“The casualty was helped to safety and first aid provided before handing over to a waiting ambulance,” the RNLI said.
