Robbery at bank branch

Police have launched an investigation after a robbery at a bank branch.

The incident happened at 9.48am today in Lord Street, Fleetwood.

Officers said a woman had been robbed while withdrawing money from the cash machine at the Santander branch.

She was pushed by the offender, who snatched a quantity of cash and made off. No arrests have been made as yet.

The offender is described as 18-30 years old with short black hair, a black leather jacket and grey jogging bottoms.

He was described as asian in appearance.
