A tunneller breached a court order when he got back in a relationship with the mother of his child.

Patrick McGeever then got accused by her of seeing another woman and the police were contacted.

McGeever, 25, of Oakwood Close, South Shore, pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order, causing damage and breaching a conditional discharge.

He was bailed for pre-sentence reports by Blackpool magistrates.

Martine Connah, prosecuting, said McGeever was given a 12 months conditional discharge for assaulting his partner and put on a 12 months restraining order which banned him from contacting her in December last year.

Kathryn Jamieson-Sinclair, defending, said: “Their relationship resumed in February, then when she became displeased with him she contacted the police and reported him for breaching the restraining order.”
