This is the man police want to speak to after a 12-year-old girl reported having lewd and inappropriate comments made towards her on a bus.

Officers would like to speak to Andrew Threappleton, 47, whose last known address was in Blackpool, in connection with the incident which happened on Tuesday 21 April.

It is believed that a man sat behind the girl and began to film her on a mobile phone before allegedly making suggestive comments towards her.

PS Chris Sanderson of Blackpool Police said: “We would like to speak to Andrew Threappleton in connection with this incident and I would urge anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”

He is described as white, 6ft 2in tall, large build with blue eyes and has a Yorkshire accent. Officers believe he also has links to the Burnley and Halifax areas.
