POLICE are appealing for two men to help them with investigations after a woman was assaulted on Central Drive.

The 34-year-old woman required hospital treatment after being subjected to an assault at the address between August 14 and 15.

A 31-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and appeared in court last week.

Police are now appealing for two men, Derek Buchanan, 17, and Fraser Gallagher, 19, to come forward.

Police believe the men may be able to assist with the investigation.

Detective Chief Inspector Brian Quinn from Blackpool CID said, “I would appeal to anyone who has information about this incident to come forward and contact the police.

“If anyone was in the Central Drive area and spotted anything suspicious then I would urge them to come forward.

“I would also appeal to Mr Buchanan and Mr Gallagher to make contact with us as I believe they could assist our inquiry.

“If anyone knows the whereabouts of these people then I would ask them to call the police.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Blackpool CID on 101.

Suzzanah Bertram appeared before Blackpool Magistrates Court on Friday, August 24, charged in connection with the assault.

The 31-year-old was charged with false imprisonment, possession of a weapon for discharge of noxious liquid or gas, and administering poison to the victim.

The case has been transferred to Preston Crown Court.
