Police have issued CCTV images of a break-in at a garden machinery supplier in Garstang Road, Claughton-on-Brock, on January 12

Police are appealing for information and have released a CCTV image after a break-in at a garden machinery supplier, on Garstang Road, in Claughton-on-Brock.

Some time between 6.30pm and 7.10pm on January 12, two people tried to gain entry via three different doors, before climbing up onto the roof, causing significant damage.

PC Matt Butcher said: “Fortunately, nothing was stolen, but the damage caused to the property will clearly be expensive for the company to repair. We have released CCTV images of two people officers are looking to speak to – if anyone recognises anything about either of the people in the picture, I would ask them to get in touch.

“I would also like anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area either that evening or in the days leading up it, to contact Lancashire Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
