A man accused of running around with a machete and loaded crossbow in a residential street has made his first appearance at court.
The incident is alleged to have taken place during a dispute in the neighbourhood.
Gary Dunn is also alleged to have used his car as a battering ram during the disturbance which took place in Nethway Avenue, Layton.
Dunn, 37, of Nethway Avenue, is charged with affray and possessing a machete and loaded crossbow as offensive weapons on September 29.
He is also accused of driving a Suzuki Swift dangerously and causing £800 of damage to a garden wall on Nethway Avenue.
Blackpool magistrates ordered Dunn to appear at Preston Crown Court on October 15.
