A court granted detectives more time to question two men on suspicion of murder.

Thomas Poole, 23, died in hospital just 90 minutes after being found by police with severe head injuries at a terraced home in Ribble Road, Blackpool, on Saturday morning.

Four people were arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police have been granted more time to question two of the suspects, aged 20 and 22, until shortly after midnight tonight.

This follows a previous extension that would have expired early this morning.

Meanwhile, two other men, aged 26 and 27, who were also arrested in connection with the incident, were both released without charge yesterday.
