This is the man police are hunting after a 13-year-old girl was sexually assaulted.
Detectives say the girl was close to the courtyard at the rear of Queens Court on Queens Promenade last Sunday when she was approached by a man.
He made inappropriate comments towards her, asked her name, then grabbed her wrists and pinned her to a wall.
As he tried to kiss her, she screamed and managed to press a buzzer at a house to alert someone’s attention.
The man then ran off.
He is described as being white, aged 20-22 years-old, of slim build, 5ft 10ins tall with strawberry blond hair brushed to one side and gelled, possibly with facial hair. H
e was wearing a black North Face waterproof jacket and jeans.
Det Con Madeleine Sawyer said: “We are appealing for anybody that witnessed this incident or recognises the description of the man involved to contact 101.
“Fortunately the girl was unharmed but she was understandably left very distressed.”
