Man wanted in relation to serious attack

Police have issued this image of a wanted man being hunted in relation to a serious assault.

But officers are warning people to stay away from James Beeston, 25, from Fleetwood, but of no fixed address.

He is wanted in connection with a wounding offence that saw a 26-year-old man seriously assaulted on November 20.

Sgt Chris Sanderson, from Fleetwood Police, said “We are keen to locate James Beeston and so I urge anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the police.

“I would advise the public not to approach him but to alert us straightaway.”

Beeston is described as white, 5ft 11ins, of slim build with short light brown hair and clean shaven.

He is known to have links to the Fleetwood, Poulton and Bispham areas.
