A man who made indecent videos and photographs of girls, some as young as 10, has been put on the Sex Offender’s Register.
Gary Prestwich had indecent images on his laptop computer and his phone , police discovered.
Prestwich, 52, previously of Lindale Gardens, South Shore, now living at Orchard Road, St Annes, pleaded guilty to five offences of making indecent images of children between March 16 and 20 last year.
He was bailed to Preston Crown Court for sentence on April 1 by District Judge Jeff Brailsford sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
He must not have any unsupervised contact with children under 16 as a condition of his bail.
Malcolm Isherwood, prosecuting, said police found three video clips on Prestwich’s laptop of girls estimated to be aged 11 and 12 in sexual poses.
Photographs of young girls in sexual poses were also found on his phone. One girl was estimated to be 10.
The prosecutor added that a number of photographs of schoolgirls walking in the street were also found on Prestwich’s phone.
Michael Woosnam, defending, said his client had pleased guilty at the first opportunity and had co-operated with police.
Prestwich had told police his view was he thought the girls pictured were over-age.
