A man said he feared for his life after being chased to a probation service office by a man he owed money to.

Craig Wilson missed appointments with his probation officer and said he was concerned because the man who chased him lived near the probation office.

Wilson, 21, of no fixed address, admitted breaching a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Blackpool magistrates sentenced him to a compliance activity requirement where the probation service will ask him to carry out some activity.

The court heard Wilson had missed two appointments with his probation officer.

David Charnley, defending, said his client had issues with alcohol.
