A man posted intimate pictures of his former partner on the internet, a court heard.

Craig Sagar, who lost both his legs when he was hit by a car, admitted breaching a non-molestation order by sending
abusive messages.

Sagar, of Glencross Place, Hawes Side, was awarded a large amount of compensation following the accident in 2004, but was now living on state benefits, Blackpool Magistrates were told.

Sagar, 42, was made the subject of a six months community order, was told to pay £300 compensation and costs and was also placed on a restraining order forbidding him to have any contact with the woman.

Stephen Duffy, defending, said his client wrongly believed the county court ruling had come to an end.
