A man assaulted two people just three weeks after being released from prison.
Simon Colraine assaulted a woman in Blackpool because she had sold him some bad heroin, a court was told.
Colraine, 33, of Bedford Road, North Shore, admitted assaulting a man and a woman when he appeared before Blackpool Magistrates.
Tracy Yates, prosecuting, said that the victims were leaving Walter Robinson Court, in Laycock Gate, when they were confronted by Colraine.
Colraine grabbed the woman around the neck and banged her head against a wall. He then pinned the man on the ground and punched him.
Police arrested Colraine who told them he had committed the crimes because he was angry about the heroin.
Sue Mugford, defending, said her client had also been injured in the incident when the car which was due to pick up the two victims was driven at him.
Colraine was jailed for 14 weeks.
